Why self-belief is needed by everyone

Self-belief is vital. How many things haven't you done or tried because you lacked belief in yourself? Some people fail to believe in themselves because others didn't.
Self-belief doesn't mean arrogance or blindness to one's own shortcomings. Then again, it doesn't mean believing that you are perfect as you are, either. Your self-belief really needs to be focused on what you will become. And an important part of self-belief comes from knowing your weaknesses and being relaxed about them.
Self-belief gives you the freedom to make mistakes and cope with setbacks by seeing them for what they are: temporary setbacks, not the end of the world. And something else you'll notice: As you develops self-belief, people around you start to believe in you more, too.
These following 10 killing self-beliefs tips will release you if you sometimes have trouble of believing in yourself. Read all these steps, absorb, enjoy, and practice them after one week you will see how amazing they are. Never give up!
1. Know what you live for
To know answering the question "What’s my purpose?" changed my life instantly. To know where you are going is difficult unless you know the truth about who you are. To identify and prioritize your value is the first step for creating your life road map.
2. Surround yourself with people that support you
Be with people supporting you and enhancing your progress. Surround yourself with people having similar values and interests because their confidence in you, and your knowledge that they are there for you will motivate you and give you confidence
3. Change your focus
Being grateful is always the best way of developing self-belief. Avoid focusing on what is missing or wrong in your life and focus on being grateful for all the things that you do have and all the parts of your life that are working. Every time you ‘hear’ yourself thinking something negative, replace it with a thought of something you’re grateful for and smile!
4. Live up to your own expectations, not anyone else’s
It is not your job to satisfy other people’s expectations of you. It is your job to live up to your own expectations for yourself, to pursue your own dreams, and to use your own talents, skills and gifts to serve the world. Many times, lack of confidence comes from the fact that we are chasing other people’s goals for us, not our own.
5. Set goals
Set small, achievable, short-term goals to prove to yourself that you can accomplish what you set your mind and effort to.
6. Stop comparing yourself to other people
Your appearance, accomplishments, earnings, success, and whatever else, are your own. You have all the tools you need to fulfill your goals, not any one else’s.
7.Take on challenges
Create opportunities to prove to yourself that you are more than you currently believe you are. Who you currently believe you are was probably defined by other people. Again, it’s just their opinions. You can start small; take a class, or go to a workshop that teaches something you consider a weakness. Learn something completely new if you want something big. Take a vacation alone. Start a foundation or a company/business. Do something that scares you.
8. Remember self-belief is learnable
Remember you were born into this world with no sense of what you could or couldn't do. Then, slowly by slowly, life started to teach you to limit yourself. You should re-examine and discard many of the limiting ideas you have about yourself.
9. Deal with the inner negative voice
When you start to doubt yourself listen, for a moment, to that little negative inner voice. Whose voice is it really? A collection of lots of different voices from different times and people? One thing that little inner self-critical voice wasn't yours originally. It may masquerade as belonging to you now, but it doesn't really. Tell yourself: "This is not my true voice!" Then start to challenge it and also to just plain ignore it.
10. Keep learning and growing
The more we know and understand the better able we are to handle situations. This includes learning about yourself: gaining self-awareness. Investigate how you work, how humans in general work and how the world works. This will gain you knowledge, and as you use this knowledge in situations, you will gain experience which gives you wisdom. And wisdom will increase your belief in yourself.
When you believe in yourself, anything is possible!
Get your success on!
